The Third Order of St Francis

Our Priest, Rev’d Hannah Gregory, is a member of the Third Order of St Francis. The Third Order consists of any people, men or women, married or single, priests or laity; who though following the ordinary professions of life feel called to a life-long dedication under a definite discipline and vows.

Dedicating themselves to our Lord as Instruments of His Peace, members of the Third Order are guided by The Principles, which include The Three Aims of the Order as expressed through The Three Ways of Service and The Three Notes of the Order. The Rule of the Third Order is adapted by each Tertiary to reflect their particular circumstances of life. Daily Readings from The Principles form part of The Community Obedience .

Hope 25

Hope25 seeks to empower Australian Anglican parishes and communities in an intentional season of sharing hope in Jesus from Easter to Pentecost in 2025.

At Bendigo North – we are preparing to open Hope Playgroup based out in St Clements, Huntly. Keep an eye on the news section of this site for more information.

Safe Church

Here in the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo and the Anglican Parish of Bendigo North, we take safe church seriously because we believe church should be safe for everyone.

The Anglican Church is committed to doing everything we can to ensure that our churches are safe for all who participate in church activities – including our volunteers. That is why we require everyone who has a ministry role within the church to meet specific standards of personal conduct.

The Anglican Church of Australia has established standards of conduct for church workers to maintain a safe and healthy ministry environment. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct screening and training for all persons who intend to engage in lay ministry in the Anglican Diocese of Bendigo.
